In the context of Andrew Cohen's minimal contextual perspective of turiya - each and everyone one of us - from the first humans equipped with our self same, individually progammed, genetic DNA structure - enters this life fully enlightened, as the original face witness of gross/wakening, subtle/dreaming and causal/deep sleep - with access from the outset to pure ultimate SELF.
As soon as that journey of life begins, however - albeit as a sponge ready to absorb ALL of life before us - a continuous process of 'indoctrination' takes place as a result of environment, economic disposition, upbringing, social relationships, schooling & further education and in parallel religion, science and politics all encourage us to think what others have told us to think.
Subsequently our perception & conception of the world of form is continuously changing in our minds - as the world of form evolves itself, ever more rapidly - and requires us increasingly to consider what changes when change changes?
ITS these very processes of life - that have to be understood and acknowledged - before we can awaken to the fact that we are on the journey and committed to continuing the journey until we awaken yet again to being fully enlightened - and in so doing START ALL OVER in the NEW beginning !

The definition of development - as espoused by Developmental Psychologist Robert Kegan is - that the subject of one stage becomes the object of the subject of the next stage -
the red ants crawling along this mobius strip, with I - IT - WE - ITS tracks, symbolize the fact that one can go forward in stages but not backwards.

We must not lose sight of the fact that we can “evolve” our brains at this very moment through deeper and deeper meditation to expand our consciousness to embrace the fullness of eternal spirit!!!!
Refining our brain structure through yogic tecniques is the sure, jet airplane route to God!
All that is being said here is true…We just have to put things into practise!
Hmm..I never thought about mobius strip this way. I find the nautilus form intriguing as far as evolution of consciousness and human journey is concerned. Keep going. There are many ways and many paths to self-realization.
Thank you all for this initial response - and indeed the practice of, meditation, contemplation, deliberation, reflection, non-action, action have to be executed eventually every moment of 24/7
Nothing is predestined. The future is not already known. And God, or the energy and intelligence that initiated the creative process, is not separate from this entire event. That's the whole point: from an awakened perspective, the evolutionary process is not dualistic. Whoever or whatever created the process is not separate from or outside the process itself.
Life gets a lot more interesting when you realize that that creative impulse, that energy and intelligence, is not outside the process and ultimately it is not separate from your own consciousness, from your own capacity to cognize the entire process here and now. That's really when life gets interesting: when you realize that God does not necessarily know any more about where we are all going than you do at your best moments…

A Mobius strip is a continuous loop, such as a loop of paper, with one twist. This twist makes a single surface from what had previously been two different sides of an object. As the infrastructure of the internet is being created, it is important for humanity to think about what the internet IS and will be for us in the future. This infrastructure we are creating can continue old ways of doing commerce and it can also institute new ways.
It all depends on how we view what we are creating: what “twist” we give to it.
Our present economic institutions are their own “values delivery system.” They mirror, facilitate and replicate existing power relationships. The Project 111 proposal presents a way to begin designing revenue flows from the perspective of values first, and do it consciously.
Would there be a better way to implement a world information economy?
And isn't a world information economy actually being implemented anyway?
The original model of democracy, as a “system for accomplishing what can only be achieved by citizens joining together with other citizens” (Robert B. Reich) was based on the concept of “no taxation without representation,” the equality of men and the existence of “inalienable rights.” Successive generations then established a “help for all” model of capitalism, which worked FOR democracy, at the heart of a nation engaged in production.
The nation subsequently transformed itself from production to consumerism and the system severed the link between democracy and capitalism, such that the democratic process worked FOR capitalism, as “help for the few”, with the resultant consequences which 10 to the power 100 souls now face.
The need for quintessential change is apparent. The Project 111 proposal provides the basis of an entirely new, scaleable and accountable model which would provide “help for all,” as a result of democracy and capitalism working for the mutual benefit of one another.
